What is a Malware?

Malware is a software that enters a computer system without the user's knowledge and then performs an unwanted action. There are different types of malware, some malware has a goal to make profit, while other malware has a primary goal of spreading, while other malware's purpose is to stay hidden.

Scareware

Scareware is a software that displays a warning to the user to attempt them to buy additional software to fix the problem that does not exist

Adware

Adware is a program that delivers advertisement to the user, unexpectedly and it may infect a computer as a result of a virus, worm, and trojan.

Spyware

Spyware is a term used to describe software that spies on users without gathering information without consent.

Keylogger

Keylogger captures and store each keystroke that users types on the computer's keyboard.

Worm

A worm is a program designed to take advantage of vulnerability in an application in order to enter a computer.
